Ah - maybe because of the shading? 'cause for the placing I took a photo reference XD
However, I reworked the shading on the fingers a little since it bothered me either way and changed the whole shoulders/collar/throat area~

awesome colouring, the red haired guy has an odd looking face though, maybe you should study more deeply the human skull

Yes, in the colored version it looks a bit weird because the eyepatch he wears has a color close to the hair color, so it looks as if the face ends right after the nose....
